The recent uploaded photos by Andrew Sudderby (Hi Andrew) of this Park/beach, reminded of this ticket in my album dated 11 March 1958 when myself and “Ginger” Bolton visited and went to Theatre No. 5, have no definite memory of this visit, but my now faint writing on reverse says-Live show just like the Windmill-. All of us of a certain age will remember that nude Tableau Shows we’re allowed at the Windmill Theatre in London in 1950s, providing the ladies did not move!! Would this have been a similar show at No 5 theatre at Lai Chi Kok?.Also I have a faint recollection of visiting a Zoo while in Hong Kong would there have been one at Lai Chi Kok Park?

Zoological and botanical gardens
Hi Bryan, is it possible you visited the zoological part of the botanical gardens? I'm not sure how long they have been keeping animals but even today they have a collection of apes, monkeys and lemurs. Phil
