William (Bill) Todd served in the Hong Kong Police and at the time of the Japanese invasion was Lance-Sergeant 16 attached to Eastern Division (Wanchai).
He returned to Hong Kong after release from Stanley and recuperation, retiring in the sixties as a Chief Inspector.

Sai On incident.Awarded Kings Police/Fire Services Medal for Gallantry vide London Gazette 38037 Page 3679 of 5.8.1947.Promoted Asst Supt 7.11.1950 and to Supt 7.11.1953.
