Tai Wan Beach, Hung Hom
Government Gazette no. 251
Tai Wan Beach was open for use to the general public on 7 May 1927. A bus service from Kowloon Star Feery to the beach was operated on the same day. The opening of Tai Wan beach and other beaches to the public was due to the closure of Stonecutters Beach, with the latter beach being reserved for the Military and Naval Authorities.
the Hung Hom Three District Kai Fong Association ( 紅磡三約街坊福利會)
Hung Hom Three District Kai Fong Association ( 紅磡三約街坊福利會) wrote its own history in 1964. The association was established in 1902. Over the years, it spent close to $700,000 building facilities in Hung Hom which included the Wuhu playground and facilities at Tai Wan Beach.
