Hi all
im hopefully looking for some help, I'm planning on going to Hong Kong next year for my 50th birthday and from what I have read so far things appear confusing. I was born in Mount Kellet hospital in May 66, not the one on Bowden road and from what I've read this hospital has now been demolished, if so is this hospital near the Mathilda hospital? And is there anything built where the grounds of the hospital was I'd also like to find the barracks we stayed in which were in Lei Yue Mun which I think is now a holiday park and finally were I was christened which I think was port Stanley. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
Steve

Thenn for your christening, I wonder if it was at Stanley Fort, which was also used by the armed forces:

St. Barbara's Church, Stanley Fort
St. Barbara's Church was closed in 1997 but the building should still be standing in the grounds of the current Stanley Barracks.
Well done
Hi Steve,
It's always good to hear the end of the story, especially when it turns out well. Thanks for posting your photos, which I'll include below. (If you can share any other photos of 1960s Hong Kong they'll be good to see too.)
