The old premises of Tak Sun School was used by the American Maryknoll Convent School, and then briefly by local school, Wah Yan College Kowloon, as an extension compound for its higher forms, before the War.  The Canadian Qubecois nuns of the Immaculate Conception Order, with its Mother House at downtown Montreal, operated Tak Sun School after the War.

I remember the days with fondness. The Canadians were very good to me. I remember going up to the bell tower to ring the Assembly bell. I was a Prefect in my last 2 years. In those post war years, Dairy Farm was giving us free Milk and my choice was Chocolate Milk which I still love. The US Consulate was distributing cheese - oh so yummy. I went up driveway last September, it looks so 'confined' now, but happy to see the 'Grotto' still there.
