Not sure what needed confirming, but Peter Arthur Hall describes his "...internment in Stanley from January 1942 until the end of August 1945", from the age of seven, in his book In the Web.
Peter Arthur Hall arrived in Liverpool from Hong Kong aged 19 student. He travelled with his parents George Albert Victor Hall and Mabel Hall and sister Sheila Mabel Hall aged 18 student.
