• 1951: The premises soon proved to be both inadequate and unsuitable, and in May, thanks to a generous government interest-free loan, the construction of a new building was begun.
• 1952: The Hon. D.J.S. Crozier, then the Director of Education, declared the new 20 classroom Central Wing (Secondary) open.

This is the main campus of the Tai Tung Middle School, situated at Kowloon Tong Village Lot (should be Kowloon Tong Lot?) No. 81, according to Wah Kiu Yat Po (1953-02-04, page 11).  Later, a branch campus on Argyle Street was opened.

Founded in 1958.
