He had 11 children, listed at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=481594.msg3630364#msg3630364. One of his children was Frederick J WILKINSON, who had a further nine children!

The funeral service took place at the Chapel of the Resurrection, Colonial Cemetery, yesterday of Mrs. Lucy Kathleen Stafford Smith, who died at her residence at Shek O on Thursday. The Rev. A. P. Rose officiated.
My grandfather Alfred was the first Headmaster of King's College from 1926-1934 following on from his tenure at Saiyingpun school after arriving in Hongkong in 1905 on the "Simla" - with 2 small children, my mother Dorothy Langston nee Morris and Edwin Alan - later killed in WW1.

John Black's list gives Channing's occupation in 1941 as "Police".
Thomas Pritchard was my paternal grandfather. He is buried in the Stanley Cemetary. My father and I saw his grave when we went out to HK in 1982.
In brief, he came from Pwllheli, north Wales and had a long career at sea. He had served for the Hong Kong and Macao Shipping Line for a while through the 1930s at least (I posted a pic of him with Robert Ho Tung in one of your galleries yesterday) and commanded the steamers Kinshan and Taishan.
