Betty became an actress and appeared on the London stage under the name CHIN YU; married her leading man, then had twins - a boy and a girl. In 2000 the twins died within 6 months of each other. Betty passed away a year or so ago.
George Sinclair RODGER [1899-1943]
John Black's list gives Mr Rodger's occupation in 1941 as "Engineer".

During internment, Marie Barton married V. Morrison of HK Police, who had escaped from Stanley early on but was captured and kept in the Stanley Gaol, and later brought back into camp after which he married Marie.
Roy Ernest HEASMAN [1914-1976]
Barbara Anslow:
In Stanley Internment Camp, R. Heasman used to do violin practice in a sort of shed (used I think as the camp mortuary) near the gaol.
