1958: Raimondi College opened. It was dedicated to the memory of Bishop Raimondi, the first Catholic Bishop of Hong Kong. Raimondi College was the first Catholic Diocesan secondary school established in Hong Kong. Father J. Carra was appointed as Supervisor and Principal.

Raimondi College
Several months after its original classroom building was completed, I wrote their Form 1 application test in there. Everything was new except the vegetation and trees not disturbed by the construction. It was a joy to receive their acceptance letter but that would have required long commuting from Shum Shui Po. My appreciation and gratitude remain to this day.
