This name popped up when I bought an old 1927 Christmas card, sent by L R .. then a surname I didn't recognise, c/o Butterfield & Swire.
Adam replied that "He was Mr Lewis Rhodes Billinghurst, according to the 1927 Jurors List."
A quick search on the internet shows he must have left Hong Kong by 1942, as he was interned by the Japanese at the Weihsien camp between 1943 and 1945. The list of internees says he was an accountant with Butterfield & Swire. (More details of the camp.)

Lewis Rhodes Billinghurst 1902 - 1969
Born 19 August 1902 in West Hampstead son of Henry Billinghurst a pianoforte manufacturer and Edith Gertrude Billinghurst. In 1911 the family was living at 62 Minster Road Cricklewood
He married Katherine Hope Reford (born 1 February 1912 Entebbe Uganda) 2 December 1936 st St John's, Merrow, Surrey (her name is Reford in the civil index and Redford in an Ancestry tree)
He travelled from Hong Kong to Liverpool in 1950 aged 47 occupation accountant with John Swire and Son. His wife Katherine Billingurst was 38 and their children were Jennifer aged 12, Michael aged 10 and Susan aged 1.
He died 5 April 1969 in Burham on Crouch Essex His death was registered in Chelmsford
