Stanley Lodge - RBL 146 [1925-1982]
The [Ho Sai Kwong] family's summer resort, Stanley Lodge, after which he [Stanley Ho] was named, was auctioned off. ... It was not until 1983 that Ho finally, and symbolically, managed to reacquire the ocenfront property with its spectacular beach.
[actually, it did not have a private beach. A beach is still there, and you can get to it by going down the path beside Pacific View. It is a dog-friendly beach ]
It was symbolic, indeed. Just a couple of years later, Stanley Ho sold it to the American Club.
