Local Red Cross supplies :-
Bran, sugar and soya came in. Understand that the Gardeners (Canadian officers) have held a meeting. No further perks to be taken by any individual. All done under the honour system. No let up :- the weather or the low standard of food.
Breakfast boiled ground rice.
Tiffin - boiled lettuce and white rice.
Dinner - Chow fan (lettuce, turnip & carrots).
