13 Feb 1945, Leo Landau's wartime diary

Submitted by Brian McDouall on

The weather for the past ten days has remained cold, damp and overcast. We had the fall in given at 10.30 AM. A special classifying of our fit, disabled and was wounded.

Though the Russians are on the outskirts of Germany and the Americans are virtually mopping up in the cities, the war seems no where nearer ending.

Red Cross supplies for H.K. are a certainty for early next month; if the local rag is a sufficient guide.
