Rained steady all night and also on parade this morning. The temperature has dropped a lot. Clothes I washed 2 days ago is still outside trying to get dry! Had Cain over for lunch yesterday. Mutton, fried eggs & onions. He enjoyed it poor fellow. Here I am well fed (thanks to Dad) and healthy. I wonder what it would have been like had I been a Canadian on the other side of the nullah.
We had a surprise fall in at 4.30 p.m. It took the camp 7 minutes to be ready for counting. Did some P.T. in the morning and visited the camp book binders, a fine little store, made up from odds and ends one can pick up. Received a letter from Dad & Nancy.
