Good strong rain all day & well into the night. Major Boon Cha showed his colours, a grass cutting fatigue for 2 p.m. we naturally considered as cancelled, due to the heavy rain. Still on as he did not have immediate permission to cancel same. We were soaked good & proper. I feel that he could have cancelled the fatigue on his own bat & then had it confirmed later by the Japanese, the C.C. would I am sure not have mind in the least, he is a considerate man.
