Simon Edward Hedges Eyre WHITE [1898-1953]

Simon Edward Hedges Eyre White was Lieutenant-Colonel and Commanding Officer of 2nd Bn The Royal Scots during the Battle of Hong Kong.

He married Violet Studdert in 1931. She appears to have styled her name as Violet Simon-White

After the fall of Hong Kong, Lt. Col. White was interned at Argyle Street Camp. His wife was interned at Stanley Camp.
