Emma Teresa Reardon was better known as Sister Mary Regina. She served the Maryknoll Sisters and arrived in Hong Kong in 1937. Sister Mary Regina later became the House Superior.

After the fall of Hong Kong, she was residing at Maryknoll Convent School. On 8 February 1942, eighteen Sisters of the school including Sister Mary Regina were interned at Stanley Camp.

She was released from camp in June 1942 and repatriated to the United States.
