Sarah Catherine Johnston better known as Sarah C. Johnston was an American missionary serving the Assemblies of God Church in South China in the Canton (Guangzhou) and Hong Kong areas.
She was present in Hong Kong during the Japanese invasion and interned at Stanley Camp. She was repatriated to the United States in 1942.
Sarah C. Johnston retuned to Hong Kong in 1946 to continue her missionary work. She died on 6 May 1972 and is buried in the Hong Kong Cemetery. See: https://www.hkmemory.hk/MHK/collections/hong_kong_cemetery/All_Items/images/201309/t20130916_72352.html?cf=search
