Nathan F. Brewer was an American missionary of the Seventh-day Adventist Denomination. He and his wife were sent to China and by 1916 were serving the mission in Nanking (Nanjing).

N. F. Brewer was also the former president of the China Division of Adventists and was visiting Hong Kong at the time of the Japanese attack. He was interned in Stanley Camp and repatriated with other Americans in 1942.

After WWII, he went back to China to serve as General Secretary of the China Division. A few years later, he returned to the United States.  N. F. Brewer died in 1959 in an automobile accident.
