I am researching some papers of the late Pauline Sclater nee Pemble, who was held as a child in Stanley Internment Camp.
One signature is G K Edwards and I believe this must be Gladys Kathleen Edwards ANS, nee Saunders on 8/1/1913, who married CSM Ronald Alfred Edwards of HKVDF on 4/7/1940. Incidentally, according to the Western Morning Post in the UK, which reported a guard of Honour at the Wedding at St John's Cathedral, Ronald had been a member of (Ted Coleman's) Waldorf Dance Orchestra before leaving Devon for Hong Kong.
Ronald was born on 26/4/1906 & I believe died in Truro in 1985, Gladys having died in 1965.
