FUNERAL OF THE LATE MR. CARLOS D. DANENBERG.
The funeral of Mr. Carlos D. Danenberg, an old Portuguese resident, father of Professor Emil Danenberg, who died on Sunday at the advanced aged of 88 years, took place yesterday afternoon at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Followed by two of the sons of the deceased and other relatives and also a large number of friends, the cortege wended its way through the Cemetery path to the Chapel where a short service was held at which Father Spada officiated, assisted by Fathers de Angelis, Granelli and Maglioni, and students of the Catholic Seminary. The remains were then taken to an older portion of the Cemetery and interred with the usual rites associated with a Catholic burial.
Messrs. F. and S. Danenberg (sons), A. E. Alves (son-in-law), E. and W. A. Roza (grandsons) were the chief mourners, other relatives and friends present being Chev. J.M. Alves, Messrs. A. F. B. Silva-Netto, J. M. Rocha, E. J. and M. A. Figueiredo, and many others.
