The Heritage Museum say it was it was built in 1904:

Erected between Queen’s Road West and Des Voeux Road West in Western

District in 1904, the three-storey Tai Ping Theatre accommodated over

1,000 seats and was one of the most well-established theatres in early 20th

century Hong Kong.

Moddsey dates the demolition to December 1930 (https://gwulo.com/comment/31626#comment-31626).

The second generation Tai Ping Theatre was built on the site.

An exhibition about the theater shows both the facade and a 3D model reconstructed from a 1903 architectural plan.

I found this newspaper clipping poster while attending the exhibition "Braving the Storm: Hong Kong under Japanese Occupation" hosted by the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence a few years ago.  The caption says it was a play that took place near the onset of war, but the year "壬戍" should correspond to the year 1922.  When I looked up on the internet, the information also shows the play at the time, which was led by the renowned Peking Opera Artist, Mei Lan (stage name: Mei Lanfang), was actually taking place at the Tai Ping Theatre in 1922.

It looks like the second generation model.
