Death of Mr. J. C. Rosselet.
We regret to record the death of Mr. J. C. Rosselet, which took place this morning at his residence, 23, Wong Nei Cheong Road, at the age of 73 years. The deceased, who was a native of Fleurier (Neuchatel), Switzerland, was one of Hongkong's oldest and most respected residents. He had resided for 46 years in the East, chiefly in Hongkong, and was doyen of the Swiss community here. He leaves a widow, son and daughter, for whom much sympathy is felt. His son is Mr. Charles S. Rosselet, local manager of Messrs. Gerin, Drevard and Co.
The funeral takes place this afternoon, passing the Monument at 4 p.m.
His grave is in the Hong Kong Cemetery:

Hello Michael,
Please can I ask if you can confirm your great-grandfather's first name? We have "Jehu" above, copied from his gravestone, but the text on gravestones is often hard to read. In the Jurors Lists his first name is given as "Jean".
