Reclamation means this isn't an island any more, but its southern shore is still in the sea. It is the only piece of natural shoreline for a considerable distance in either direction.
Googled and found some links, which mentioned the island was integrated into the now Hoi Sam Park back in 1972. The reclaimation started back in 1964. There used to be a shrine on the island but since joining the mainland, the shrine had been relocated to a site next the the Tin Hau Temple at Ha Heung Road.
