  • 1949: Roxy Theatre opened.
  • 1974: Last film shown on 1st Feb, then the building was demolished in March. 

The current building is named 'Lok Sing Centre'. I guess the Cantonese 'Lok Sing' is the sound-alike for 'Roxy'.

True,Lok Sing is the Cantonese pronunciation of the Chinese name of the Roxy Theatre[樂聲戲院]。
