The Public Works Report for 1965 refers:

A new Blake Pier with a roof promenade was completed and the old one, built in 1901, was demolished. Its original cast iron structure will be used in a future public park in North Kowloon

The second generation Blake Pier was demolished in 1993 during the next phase of the Central Reclamation Project. (source)
