Somehow “Commissioner Heating and Evaluation” doesn’t sound quite right. Is this a typo and should his Government post in fact read “Commissioner for Rating and Valuation?”
Incidentally, this Govt Dept HQs was, at one time, housed in the former Officers Mess of Murray Barracks when it stood in Admiralty - later “dismantled” and rebuilt in Stanley as Murray House.
Widely believed by many local staff to be haunted from the time of the Japanese Occupation.
