I happened to visit HK in Mar '84 and went up to 31 Lugard Rd - 'our' house was about to be demolished, so it seems I saw it again in the nick of time - I asked Alison whether she had seen it when she was in HK a year or so later; by then there was some new construction work going on apparently.
