7th - could the missing word be "tyre" ? So "Repair rear tyre of James' Bike".
16th - "Fuji". Cheng Po Hung's book "Hong Kong during the Japanese Occupation" lists the Fuji Restaurant on Des Voeux Road Central. He says it was on the ground floor of Matsuzakaya, and was "Formerly Wiseman Restaurant, opened on 21 August 1942, had a refrigerated soft drink machine."
When he says "Formerly Wiseman Restaurant" I think he means Cafe Wiseman, which was in the building variously known as Exchange Building / Exchange House / Telephone House / Lane Crawford House:
