I've had a closer look, and I believe this person was Mr Niels Orskov Christensen.

He was mentioned in the Waichow Intelligence Summary #29, 6 May 1943. There are two separate mentions that use different spellings, but I believe they both refer to the same man:

Appendix 'A'.

STATEMENT MADE BY J. L. QUIE AND F. A. OZORIO.

[...]

Recent Deaths: CRESSAL (PUISNE JUDGE) in Stanley, HOUSTON (POLICE MAGISTRATE), CHRISTENSEN (2nd BATTERY) in SHAMSHUIPO and GEORGE CROSS (FORMER C. M. CUSTOMS, RETD.).

[...]

INTERROGATION: 26 Apr. and 27 Apr. 43

[...]

J.L. QUIE: Before hostilities Secretary of Humphreys Estate & Finance Co., Ltd.; Secretary of Peak Tramways & Managing Director of Q.B. Piggeries near YEUN LONG, N.T.; Asst. Q.M. of 2nd Battery, H.K.V.D.C.

[...]

Some deaths in P.W. Camps they mentioned were :-

HOUSTON - H.K. Government Cadet, about 2 months ago.
CHRISTIANSEN - A Dane (2nd Bty. H.K.V.D.C.) just before Xmas (S.S.P.)
PETER LLOYD - 3rd degreed as result of ALKO (sic!) PEARCE's escape and died.

In the 1942 list of Prisoners Of War - Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Forces there aren't any people surnamed Christiansen but there are two Christensen and both shown as 'Gunner' which fits with the '2nd Bty. H.K.V.D.C.' in the report above.

Christensen J V HKVDC Gunner 4689
Christensen N O HKVDC Gunner 4354

Over on the Hong Kong War Diary website, the list of members of the 2nd Battery of the HKVDC includes the entry:

Christensen, Neils Orskov Lance Bdr. 4354 NP K 18.12.42 [158]

[158] Cardiac failure.

Finally, he appears in the Jurors Lists for 1940 and 1941:

c   Christensen, Niels Orskov. Merchant, John Manners & Co., Ld. 26 Humphreys Building, Kowloon.

I've updated the details at the top of the page.
