A meeting of the American Community at 2 p.m. hears reports about the repatriation: the date is still uncertain, but it will probably be the middle of next month.

Patients at Tweed Bay Hospital can now get bananas at 10 cents each.

re report today that patients at Tweed Bay Hospital can get bananas for 10 cents each, I'd point out that from time to time a supply of bananas was sent into the camp - for sale to any internee who had the money to buy them, not only for patients.  As I remember it, for some reason the bananas were delivered to Tweed Bay Hospital office for sale.
