So there may have been a Wendy and a Winnifred.

The Camp Roll at the Yahoo Group Site has Rossini W. V. 1(9)23, Secretary, and Rossini W. P. 1926 (no profession given).
So it looks like Winnifred was indeed the 'stenographer' and that we need a separate entry for Wendy.
