The buckets in use were made of wood. Most likely before 1970s. These tools are still in use by vegetable farmers in smaller farms, where automation is not feasible. Afterall, not all farms are close to natural water resources. They mainly switched to use metal ones in the past five decades as there were virtually nobody making such wooden tools locally anymore.
