The somewhat neglected-looking old Stanley Hotel, which was replaced by Sea and Sky Court in 1966, forms the centrepiece of this image. Moving along the shoreline to the left, and entering that area of Chek Chue (Stanley) known as Ma Hang, stands the Tin Hau Temple. Further to the left, bungalows associated with Far East Farm are discernible.
