Hong Kong next stop.
20-year-old Thelma Franco, of Hong Kong, a newly qualified B.O.A.C. Stewardess.
During her first visit to England, she completed a two-week course at B.O.A.C’s training establishment at Hurn Airport near Bournemouth. Thelma already has 800 flying hours to her credit, and today she is returning to her home in Hong Kong on one of the last B.O.A.C. flying boat services.
Note:- With already 800 hours flying time to her credit, she probably gained these with BOAC’s affiliate airline ‘Hong Kong Airways’ prior to transferring to B.O.A.C.
