I must have chosen to photograph this page of the Rate Books because it shows the situation in 1914-15, the year before Broadwood Road was fully created. Hence the two Belvedere addresses and Lyndholme (I.L. 1947 section K) are still given as "Leighton Hill, near Wongneichung." As it happens I.L. 2050 in Warren Street is given as a dwelling belonging to Leung Ki. At the bottom of the page the unnumbered Ridge House (I.L. 1947), which would become 13 Broadwood Road is still jointly owned by C.E. Warren and J. Olson. The entry next to it records three of the Perfection Place houses in Tai Hang, given as I.L. 2040. G.K. Hall Brutton is recorded as the owner of. 1 Broadwood Road, given as Wongneichung and I.L. 2060. I'm not sure why Broadwood Road and Tai Hang properties are shown consecutively on this nevertheless historically interesting page.
