I had previously seen a map of the road system within the Naval Dockyard but did not copy the details of the reference map. The roads were named predominantly after vessels that served with the Royal Navy. As I recall, there were some obscure names. Immortalite Road after HMS Immortalite may have been one of them but not sure.
Followed-up. The 1957.3 Map at https://www.hkmaps.hk/viewer.html gives the names of the roads at the Naval Dockyard prior to its scaling down. However, Immortalite Road is not there nor are the names of the roads in the vicinity of the Boat Basin.

Immortalite
As it is a word I hadn't recognised in everyday life, I had to look it up.
It seems to have a religious significance.
