This is the first of the two photos of my cousins, Geoffrey and Diana Warren on Stanley Beach in the early 1930s. I didn't originally upload this one as a legend was written in heavy black ink across the top that read "Hand knitted swimsuits". IDJ has just commented how uncomfortable they were in his boyhood experience. Certainly my cousin, Geoffrey Warren doesn't look at all happy in his. I have cropped the legend which means that we have also lost the top of the mountain, but this photo gives a better idea of the swimsuits themselves.
