I don't think I've previously uploaded this photo from William Richmond Fell's album showing three "L" submarines supported by HMS Titania, here L20, L3 and L27 probably in Tolo harbour. The date would be 1928 or 1929. The submarines were patrolling the China coast on the lookout for pirate vessels. W R Fell was commander of L3.
