A 1950s business card from Wadhumal's gives their address as 43 Granville Road. Google Earth shows that, as of Dec 2025, no. 43 is still intact, though all of the balconies have been enclosed. 41A-B had been demolished by March 1972, when construction on its replacement, Hing Ming Building, was already in progress. 41C-D had been demolished by 1974, when it disappeared from Land and Survey Office maps, and its replacement, Granville House, was completed in 1976.

Looks like the car in the photo is not going anywhere soon.
41A
The current 41A - 41B (Hing Ming Building - 興明樓) was built in 1972, so it's not the building we can see in the image above but a later replacement. The same for 41C-41D (Granville House - 嘉威大廈) - listed as being completed in 1976. So it looks as though only number 43 remains today.
re: 41A
Hi Phil, yes, you're right. For some reason, squinting at Street View images, I thought maybe they had preserved and then enclosed the original structures, but evidence from Land and Survey Office maps proves otherwise. Have updated the caption with corrected info.
