Fr. Arthur Francis Allie was ordained in 1935 as a Priest in the Maryknoll Fathers and served his first international mission in Korea. He was held as a civilian internee during WW II and returned to the US in 1942 on the MS Gripsholm' first repatriation voyage. He subsequently had a long career with the Maryknoll Fathers in Central and South America until ill health forced him to return to the US in 1954. He died at age 58 and was buried at the Maryknoll Cemetery at Maryknoll, New York.
