Father Allie belonged to the Maryknoll Mission and was ordained on 16 June 1935. Not mentioned in the Maryknoll Mission Archives of when he arrived in Hong Kong. He appears to have been transferred to the Orient, likely to Korea, in about 1938. He was interned at Stanley by the Japanese in 1942, and repatriated with other Americans later that year.
