Thank you for posting. Interesting photo showing the early building development of Tsim Sha Tsui. I think the photographer was on Carnarvon Road looking south towards Signal Hill, before the Signal Tower was built. Granville Road crosses from left to right in the foreground.
So that would be before the Signal Tower was built which was 1907. The 1903 Kowloon map already shows the presence of the properties as shown in the photo but they were not there on the 1896 map of Kowloon. So the photo is between 1897-1906.
Views of eastern Kowloon at that time period are uncommon!
