Happy Valley Racecourse, 1840s (??)

Shows a very young racecourse, in the Wikipedia attributed to the late 1840s, but likely taken some 20 years later. Possibly the photo from which the painting was derived is  Happy Valley Racecourse, viewed from Morrison's Hill 1868. Possibly the stands at the racecourse could give a better time estimate.

Although a painting, it looks very realistic.

An interesting detail is visible in the foreground: the Bowrington Old Bridge.
