I'm very grateful to moddsey for identifying where this picture was taken because it has helped me date it. It's the cutting where Broadwood Road meets the Tai Hang Road in Happy Valley.
The legend with the picture says - 'Our first HK baby.'
Previously I had dated this to 1936. Now it tells me it's circa 1932, which is before the time Mildred Dibden began her own work taking in babies.
