This is a post-war shot of the Fanling Babies' Home with Mildred Dibden, together with Dr Arthur Woo, who helped the Home greatly during the war and enabled it to come through. With them is Arthur Woo's mother, who may well have been helping the Home at this time, and a Mrs Montgomery. Also the 'children of Forms 1 and 2.'
This will be post May 1946 when Miss Dibden returned from convalescing in the UK to take over the running of the Home again. All the smaller babies died in the war, but 52 children survived. This is a good shot of the calligraphy over the door - Lingering Fragrance Family School.
