Pedder Street with the Hongkong Hotel on the right. Construction works at the older part of the hotel visible. The Jardine House (2nd gen) is still under construction, so the date should be 1908 or 1909.

In the foreground are men in white dresses pushing an (empty) four-wheeled cart. Is this something in connection with a funeral?
