Hi Curly, I wonder if this was the old concrete pier at Sam Shing in Castle Peak Bay? If so, it would mean you probably took the photo from the hilltop where the temple is located. The location is now a carpark...Phil
I have no memory of taking this photo but , as it was obviously somewhere that I didn't see or pass by often enough to leave some vestige of memory, you are probably right. When I took my albums to pieces, some photos had useful captions and others, like this one, had only a passing comment about the scene rather than the location. I find it easy to see this short-coming in retrospect.
Hi Curly, I can only assume it was part of the small fishing village clustered around the temple. The whole area at the back is now reclaimed and filled with highrise housing estates. Phil
