Buildings in Central from the Peak 1980 + 2014

View from the Peak onto buildings in Central in 1980 (top) and 2014 (bottom).

As usual in Hong Kong, drastic changes over the years. From the HSBC HQ to the left:

HSBC Headquarters Building (3rd generation) [1935-1984] replaced by the HSBC Headquarters Building (4th generation) [1986- ]

Chartered Bank / Standard Chartered Bank building [1959-1986] replaced by Standard Chartered Bank Building [1990- ]

Hang Chong Building [1965-????] replaced by Henley Building [1997- ] 

Holland House [1937-????] (hardly visible)  replaced by 9 Queen's Road Central [1991- ]

On Chater Road (right to left) - visible on both photos:

Mandarin Oriental Hotel [1963- ] (a bit hidden in 2014)

Alexandra House (2nd generation) [1976- ]
